Caydin White Joins Huntsville Sports Commission As 2021 Summer Intern

Huntsville, AL – The Huntsville Sports Commission (HSC) is excited to announce the hire of Caydin White as the 2021 Summer Intern. White will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and planning of events and meetings, monitoring social media accounts, creating digital media content and more.

White, a 2016 Grissom High School graduate, is a former athlete himself and played lacrosse, basketball, and football. He served as a captain for the 2015 Grissom Lacrosse team that won the Alabama State Championship. He currently attends Auburn University as a senior where he is working towards receiving a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a concentration in Sports Communication. He plans on entering the sports industry once he graduates in May 2022, in hopes of obtaining a position with a collegiate or professional sports organization.

“To be selected as the 2021 Summer Intern for the HSC is an honor. I am blessed to get to learn from both Mark Russell and Brooke Izzo and can’t wait to hit the ground running with this talented team,” said White. “Over the past couple years, I’ve noticed the growth of the sports industry in Huntsville, and I just want to help continue the growth and improving the quality of life in my hometown by being a part of the Huntsville Sports Commission.”

White started with the HSC on June 1, 2021. The HSC looks forward to the enthusiasm and hard work White brings to the HSC team. He can be contacted by email at cdw0043@auburn.edu.
