New Talent Joins as Full-Time Operations Team Member: Welcome Chance Cofield!

The Huntsville Sports Commission (HSC) is thrilled to announce the addition of Chance Cofield as a Full-Time Operations Team Member. This strategic hire reflects HSC’s commitment to continuous growth and the pursuit of excellence.

“HSC has and will continue to do great work for the City of Huntsville,” Cofield said. “I already feel welcomed by the staff, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for us and this wonderful city.”

Cofield brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to HSC, making him an asset to our operations team. As a Full-Time Operations Team Member, he will play a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Cofield earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology & Sport Management from Auburn University at Montgomery in May 2023. During his academic journey, Cofield managed his time effectively, balancing the demands of academics and Division II cross-country. He was also an Events Intern with the Auburn Athletic Department. His experience and endeavors give him the ability to identify and prioritize critical information, which he will utilize for our operations team.

“We are so excited to have Chance join the team,” said HSC Event Operations Manager Jalen Williams. “He’ll undoubtedly make a huge impact, and I’m looking forward to watching him learn and grow in the role!”

Cofield’s addition to the operations team is a testament to our commitment to hiring top-tier talent that aligns with HSC’s organizational goals and values. We extend our warmest welcome to Cofield and anticipate a successful journey ahead as he joins the Huntsville Sports Commission team.
