Event Details

The USA Volleyball Junior Beach National Championship was held July 21-26, 2020 at the John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex in Huntsville, AL. This was the first time the event was held in the state of Alabama. The event was hosted by the Huntsville Sports Commission, Rally Volleyball and City of Huntsville. Over 33o teams participated in the championship and represented 24 different states. The championship had an economic impact greater than $1 million to the city of Huntsville and occupied over 2,000 room nights.

July 21: Day 1 (First day for Girls 12U/16U  Boys 16U)

Morning Wave Pool Play:
Check-in: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Games start at 8 AM

Games start at 12 PM

July 22: Day 2 (Second day, reseeded pools)

Morning Wave Pool Play:
Check-in: 7:15 AM – 7:45 AM
Games start at 8 AM
End by 11am*

Noon Wave Pool Play:
Check-in: 11:15 AM – 11:45 AM
Games start at 12 PM
End by 3pm*

Afternoon Wave Pool Play:
Check-in: 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM
Games start at 4 PM
End by 7pm*

July 23: Day 3  Bracket Playoffs: Boys & Girls  12U & 16U

All teams will compete in bracket playoffs. All divisions start at 8am. Estimated start times for the finals between 12pm and 4pm EST depending on division size.

First round is Match Play for Gold Division only
2nd round onward will be single games (1 game to 28) until the semi finals
Semis, Finals, and Bronze medal games will be match play

Please be mindful of traffic and travel times to the airport when planning your departure.

July 24: Day 4  (First day for Girls 14U/18U, Boys 12U/14U/18U)

Morning Wave Pool Play:
Check-in: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Games start at 8 AM
End by 11am*

Noon Wave Pool Play:

Games start at 12 PM
