HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Huntsville Sports Commission is pleased to announce the hiring of Claudia Lowe as a 2026 Summer Intern.
Lowe is a rising junior at Auburn University studying Psychology with interest in pursuing sports psychology. She is passionate about gaining hands-on experience within the sports industry while further exploring future career opportunities in sports.
“I’m excited to work with the Huntsville Sports Commission and be part of such a fast-paced environment while learning more about the sports industry,” Lowe said. “Being able to contribute to events in my hometown while gaining valuable experience has already been such a rewarding opportunity.”
In addition to her academic background, Lowe brings experience in leadership, community engagement, and event support through previous roles working with students, community organizations, and team environments. Her passion for connecting with others and willingness to learn have made her a valuable addition to the Huntsville Sports Commission team.
Lowe started out strong with HSC by joining the team right before the AHSAA State Soccer Tournament. During that week, she assisted with the media luncheon, event preparation and set up, and managing gates and hospitality to make for a smooth event week. She looks forward to gaining valuable insight into the behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating successful sporting events and community engagement and assisting with day-to-day operations.
As a Huntsville native, Lowe values the city’s continued growth and enjoys being able to contribute to an organization that brings athletes, families, and the community together through sports.
